Isn't it amazing that these shoes were worn by Marie Antionette? They feature a lovely silk stripe and seem much less ornate that we have come to expect from Marie Antionette's wardrobe. I guess it should come as no suprise that they fetched $65,600 at a recent auction in France. Ah Marie, may your wonderful legend live on!
